Chocolate Panna Cotta Parfait
Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 1/2 teaspoons gelatin
- 3 tablespoons cold water
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup whipped cream for topping
- Chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions:
Over medium-low heat, mix heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar in a saucepan
Mix it up until the sugar is gone
Vanilla extract and cocoa powder should be added to the pan
To make the mixture smooth, whisk it together until its well mixed
Put gelatin over cold water in a different bowl
Wait a minute or two for it to bloom
After the mixture has bloomed, heat it in the microwave for about 15 seconds, or until it turns into a liquid
Stir it into the cocoa mix after adding it
Put chocolate chips in a bowl that can handle heat
Cover the chocolate chips with the hot cocoa mix
Wait one minute for the chocolate to melt
Mix until its smooth
Strain the mixture to get rid of any lumps and make sure it has a smooth texture
Halfway up the glasses, pour the chocolate panna cotta mixture into them
Put in the fridge for at least four hours, or until it sets
Put some whipped cream on top of each glass of panna cotta once its set
Add chocolate shavings as a garnish
Enjoy Serve cold
